It is time to announce the third ASUS Open Cup
of the season. 34-th tournament in the history, stable and always
expected, ASUS Summer Cup 2011 will take place at the same venues: Kiev
and Moscow. Once again the competion takes place under the «Republic of
Gamers» aegis.
For the fifth time in a row the finals of ASUS Summer Cup 2011 will take place in the best gaming center of Europe, the Kiev Cybersport Arena,
where every participant is sure to appreciate the top-performance
gaming stations with components from the key tournament partners: ASUS
and Intel. We have been waiting for this moment for a long time, and
finally it is happen: DOTA 5v5 discipline becomes very important for us,
going to the «Masters» degree.
There are many reasons for that,
but the most important is the interest of spectators and the size of
community. So, we will see the interesting and prestigious tournaments
of Counter-Strike 1.6 and DotA Masters on the main gaming playground of
Europe.
Traditional competitions for amateurs will take place in
Moscow — Counter-Strike NoN Profi. Also, we have planned the
preliminaries for Moscow in Counter-Strike 1.6 and DotA — the winners
will go to the «Masters» tournament in Kiev.
Last but no least, we are planning to carry out Online-qualifications
for ASUS Summer Cup 2011, which were very popular during the previous
tournaments. It is already known, that we will see the online-battles
between Counter-Strike 1.6 and DotA participants (Preliminaries for ASUS
Masters tournaments), as also the dueling battles in Quake Live and
StarCraft II.
